Open Call: City of Light Festival, Jyväskylä, Finland

The next Open Call for Light Art opens in January 2027. The annual City of Light Festival takes place in September 2027 in Jyväskylä, Finland.

In the last Open Call we received over 210 artwork proposals from 36 countries around the world. We seek temporary light art installations suitable for an urban environment, primarily for outdoor spaces. Jyväskylä offers many opportunities to create various light installations in parks, projected onto building walls, in green areas, as well as in river and lake landscapes.
