City of Light Festival: Open Call
The Open Call for Light Artists opens on 8th January 2026 for the annual City of Light Festival. It will take place on Sept 25 -Oct 3 in Jyväskylä, Finland.
The application period is Jan 8th - Feb 15th, 2026.

On the last year's Open Call, we received over 240 artwork proposals from 30 countries around the world. We are seeking temporary light art installations suitable for an urban environment, primarily for outdoor spaces. Jyväskylä offers many opportunities to create various light installations in parks, projected onto building walls, in green areas, as well as in river and lake landscapes.
Please fill the form in English or Finnish. Applications sent after deadline, as well as incorrectly filled forms will be disregarded.
