Light art

The City of Light actively seeks to bring light art to the cityscape in the form of light artworks, events and other urban culture. Partners include Jyväskylä Art Museum, other operators in the cultural field and light art professionals. 

The Jyväskylä Art Museum participates annually in the City of Light event with the light themed programme.  

Traditionally, the City of Light seminar held in September also includes presentations on light art, and additionally, presentations from domestic partners are also heard. These presentations have been given, amongst others, by the members of the Finnish Light Art Society.
