Attractions in the Jyväskylä area

Jyväskylä is the City of Light all year round, and as the night gets dark, it's well worth to visit the permanent lighting sites – which there are more than a hundred in Jyväskylä already. The area is also famous for Alvar Aalto's architecture sites and stunning UNESCO World Heritage Sites such as the old church in Petäjävesi. If possible, we encourage you to stay a bit longer in Jyväskylä and visit the most popular attractions.
